Who I am (in words)
I was born and rasied in Spokane, Washington and have so much love for the PNW. I’ve always been known to be someone with a lot of ideas at once. My parents used to call me Maisy from a book series by Lucy Cousins where the catchphrase was “Maisy has an idea”. Since I had all of theses ideas (possibly too many at a time), I had a hard time choosing a career path.
Although I love the PNW, I wanted to experience living somewhere else for college that had a lot of different programs for me to choose from since I was still unsure of my path. I knew I wanted to do something creative, and at the time liked creating travel videos, so I decided to go to Arizona State University for FIlm.
Graduating highschool and starting college in 2020 was a transitional time in my life. I was at one of the biggest schools in the country, but was in lockdown in my dorm in a state where I knew no one. In that time I realized film wasn’t for me, and I switched my major to graphic design halfway through my first semester.
Now, I have graduated with a Bachelors in Graphic Design and a minor in Business. I have learned so much about design and myself throughout the last five years. I'm excited to have graduated and made the move to Oregon (I couldn’t resist moving back to the PNW), and to keep growing and learning in my career.
